Education · The Bronx

A school at 1910 Arthur Avenue

In 2020 we placed an entire nine-story building in the Tremont section of the Bronx with Zeta Charter Schools, a tuition-free public charter network, under a 49-year leasehold condominium. Joyland Group handled the transaction in-house, and the former office building was renovated for classroom use.

The building is home to Zeta Bronx Tremont Park Lower Elementary School, serving Pre-K through 2nd grade and listed by the NYC Department of Education as school X632. In September 2026, Zeta opened its Tremont Park upper elementary and middle school for grades 3 through 8 nearby, so students can continue close to home. View the property →

From public school to treatment center

At 589 Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn, we converted a former public school building into a health-care facility after a 2017 change of occupancy, and we leased it to ACI (Addiction Care Interventions).

ACI operates its inpatient center in the building, offering medically supervised withdrawal and inpatient rehabilitation programs certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), bringing residential addiction care to the neighborhood.
