This building began as part of a larger commercial lot on East New York Avenue, the same parcel that still holds the neighborhood supermarket next door. In 2017 the lot was formally subdivided so a new residential building could rise on the open portion while the two remained a single zoning lot.
Completed in 2018, the seven-story building holds 94 residences over ground-floor commercial space. Its brightly painted mural facade has made it one of the most recognizable buildings on the avenue.
